We walked to the top of Saunton Down.

Walking Holidays

For a stunning view this was difficult to beat.  We walked from Saunton Beach Car Park, crossed the road and went uphill as far as we could go until we were right at the top of Saunton Down. Wow what a view. Admittedly it was a sunny day but the 360 degree panorama was amazing. This photograph shows Saunton Beach and the Brauton Burrows, maybe the edge of Saunton Golf Course. Close of Season

We are now closed for our winter shutdown but I wanted to share this photo of Woolacombe beach, taken from the Tourist Information area. I was waiting for my friend for a long walk with the dogs and the view was as stunning as ever.   Back at home we are deep cleaning all the cottages before winter sets in and deciding on new flooring for the lounge of Hibiscus (laminate or carpet). I will decide on any other purchases / changes after this.  On the farm the rams have just gone into the same field as the ewes; we have 2 rams this year so I am assuming that it is a joint captaincy situation,...
