Booking & Payment
You can book directly through our website or contact us via phone or email. A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due six weeks prior to arrival. For bookings made less than six weeks before arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Our prices include all booking costs and are per cottage. The only extras are our dog tariff and of course any EV charging.
Being a small family business we are flexible and like to accommodate most requests for different arrival days/lengths of stay. The booking system is mostly set up for Saturday arrival, 1 week stay but please get in touch if you would like something different (excludes main summer holidays).
Arrival & Departure
Check-in details are provided in your welcome email,. You are welcome to arrive any time after 4 pm. Our cleaners arrive at 10 am, out of courtesy to them we ask that you have checked out by this time.
We may not greet you in person upon arrival, but if you provide a mobile number, we will message you to ensure everything meets your expectations. If you encounter any issues, please contact us promptly.

Accommodation Details
Yes, well-behaved pets (maximum of two) are permitted by prior arrangement in most cottages. Clematis is kept pet-free to accommodate allergy sufferers.
Yes. We have recently installed an EV charger. This is untethered, 7kW, Connector: Type 2
Please remember to bring your own charging cable.
Each cottage includes a well-equipped galley kitchen with a microwave, cooker, fridge with a small freezer compartment, and standard kitchenware. Bedding, bath towels, hand towels, and tea towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Yes, there is a laundry room with two automatic washing machines and a tumble dryer available for guest use at no extra charge. Please bring your own washing detergent.
We have “rural” WiFi although are waiting for Airband to connect us to a better service. At the point of writing our provision is not sufficient for streaming but is adequate for emails, WhatsApp etc.
Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own barbecue facilities. We ask that fire safety is considered at all times.
We have one highchair available for guests. We do not provide cots.
Accessibility
All our properties are single-level bungalows, making them accessible for many guests with reduced mobility. However, each cottage has a couple of steps to enter, and doorways may be narrow for wheelchair users. Please get in touch with us to discuss your specific needs. In our store we have a couple of aids that may be of use if requested.
Safety & Policies
No - Spreacombe Gardens is a non-smoking area both inside the cottages and the laundry room.
Each property has smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and fire blankets. Upon arrival, familiarise yourself with the escape routes and fire safety equipment. Smoking, vaping, and the use of candles are strictly prohibited inside the cottages.
Cancellations & Insurance
Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract, and your deposit is non-refundable. If you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full. If we succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less a small administration fee.
Yes, we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
