Tucked away at the bottom of the gentle slope at Spreacombe Gardens, Fuchsia is a comfortable, dog-friendly cottage with space to spread out and relax. One of our two four-bedroom properties, it sleeps five guests, perfect for families, slightly larger groups, or couples who enjoy a little extra room.
A private area outside the lounge offers a peaceful spot to unwind, and Fuchsia’s position near the side gate gives easy access to the surrounding meadows.
Inside, the wood laminate flooring adds a fresh, modern touch to the lounge area, while the rest of the cottage is thoughtfully equipped for a stress-free self-catering stay. Beds are made for your arrival, and a welcome tray is ready so you can settle in with a hot drink and start your break the right way.
Comfortable, Family-Friendly Accommodation
Fuchsia offers four bedrooms, (double, twin, single, single) making it ideal for families of five or groups wanting flexible sleeping arrangements. The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen, lounge dining room and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside, younger guests will love the nearby children’s play area, noting too fussy, a Wendy House, sandpit, and swing. It is busy and full of laughter during school holidays, but peaceful and still during quieter times of the year.
Travelling with friends or extended family? Fuchsia sits just beside Hibiscus, and many returning guests choose to book both together, giving everyone space to enjoy time apart while staying just a few steps away from each other.
Bedroom 1, Double
This bedroom is at the front of the cottage, probably one of the most private double bedrooms that we have as Fuchsia is in a corner fo the site with private lawn leading to hedgerow just in front.
The bedroom has a double bed fitted wardrobe and chest drawers and bedside table each side of the bed
Bedroom 2, Twin
Sometimes used as a twin bedroom, sometimes used as a single bedroom, we find this most flexible bedroom as it depends on the shape of the party taking the property as Fuchsia sleeps five guests over four bedrooms.
Not shown on this photograph there is a small wardrobe and chest of drawers for storing clothes.
Bedroom 3, single
With the bed positioned under the window, this is one of the two single bedrooms in the cottage. There is adequate storage for your stay.
Bedroom 4, Single
Bedroom 4 is situated in between bedroom 3 and the kitchen, with the door being off the living room area. As with the other rooms, it has a wardrobe and set of drawers ideal for storage during your stay.
