Set in the heart of Spreacombe Gardens, Camellia is a warm and welcoming self-catering cottage that sleeps four. Inside, you’ll find a double room, a twin, and a single, giving you flexible sleeping arrangements to suit your group. Camellia is also dog-friendly, making it a great choice for guests bringing their canine companions. Beds are freshly made before your arrival, and a welcome tray is waiting so you can enjoy a hot drink as soon as you arrive.
The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, grill, microwave, and a small fridge-freezer, providing everything you need for easy holiday meals. While we don’t supply herbs or oils for hygiene reasons, you’ll find all the essential cookware, crockery, and a few basics to get you started. The tiled bathroom includes a shower over the bath, a toilet, and a washbasin, providing clean and practical comfort throughout your stay.

Camellia offers a peaceful countryside escape surrounded by nature. Centrally located among our six cottages, it’s conveniently close to the laundry room and features a lower exterior step, making it more suitable for those with slight mobility challenges. Solar panels on the property reflect our commitment to eco-friendly living.
Step outside to enjoy your own picnic bench and the spacious shared lawn, ideal for outdoor dining, quiet reading, or simply soaking in the calm atmosphere. Whether you're exploring North Devon’s beaches or watching the wildlife right outside your window, Camellia offers a simple, serene base to call home.
Big enough for 4, cosy enough for 1
Camellia cottage sleeps 4 guests over 3 bedrooms. You will see from the photographs below that there is sleeping flexibility, allowing you to use two or three bedrooms for your party of 4.
This is the cottage that I stayed in recently due to a builders situation in our own house and I found it very comfortable and not overwhelmng for just me, and also lovely to be able to switch off an not do all the jobs that I might have done at home !
Bedroom 1, Double
Facing the garden area, on the ground floor, this bedroom has a double bed and ample wardrobe / drawer space for your stay
Bedroom 2, Twin
Twin beds in an L shaped formation. Camellia cottage invites for guests to stay, the bedding arrangements means that guests either choose two bedrooms or to spread out across all three
Bedroom 3 , Single
Bedroom three has a single bed under the window, looking out to the Woodlands and appropriate wardrobe, drawer storage.
