Gentle adventures. Unforgettable views. All within reach.
North Devon is a land of quiet wonders — rolling hills, hidden valleys, and a coastline that gives you room to breathe. Whether you’re visiting for a few days or lucky enough to call it home, there are walks that don’t ask for hiking boots and hours of driving — just a sense of curiosity and a love for the outdoors.
Here are our favourite walks — close to Spreacombe, easy to enjoy, and rich in soul-soothing scenery.

The North Devon Coast Path,
As dramatised in "The Salt Path" - The North Devon coastal path is both dramatic and easily reachable. Heading around either Baggy Point or Morte Point you’ll see Lundy Island in the distance on a clear day. It’s a great spot for a picnic or just to pause and breathe.

Recharge
At Spreacombe we believe in walks that clear the mind, not exhaust the body. These routes were chosen not just for their views, but for how they make you feel: free, restored, and quietly inspired.
.... And not very well kept secret is that most of our walks involve little snacks of some sort , it's just all a question of whether to picnic or go to a cafe!
