I love this photo because it makes me smile.
A whole group of us walked to Heddon's Mouth from Hunters Inn. The walk on National Trust land follows the path of the stream through a deep wooded valley and opens out into a pebble beach where we all started creating "art" with the stones, just like the people before us and just like we probably will do next time we are there. Its not as easy as it looks to get a reasonable tower and having the spaniels with us certainy wasn't helping.
We're closed now for winter, as usual, but if you come to stay next summer I would certainly consider this as a trip out.
