Walking Holidays

For a stunning view this was difficult to beat. 

We walked from Saunton Beach Car Park, crossed the road and went uphill as far as we could go until we were right at the top of Saunton Down. Wow what a view. Admittedly it was a sunny day but the 360 degree panorama was amazing. This photograph shows Saunton Beach and the Brauton Burrows, maybe the edge of Saunton Golf Course. In other directions we could see Baggy Point, Georgeham Church, and views across the fields.  It was quite a hike uphill but well worth the view.
